Removing the fuel hose
Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER PANEL OF THE LEFT DME CONTROL UNIT .
- Refer to REMOVE TOP CLEAN AIR PIPE .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CONTROL UNIT BRACKET FOR CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .
- Protect the ignition coils from escaping fuel with a cloth.
- Unlock the fuel hose on the retaining clip (2).
- Pull the sealings (1) to the rear.
- Remove the fuel hose.
