When replacing the starter motor generator: Programming the starter motor generator to the current integration level or resetting the statistical data

Use the most recent software version to prevent faults during programming/coding.
The battery voltage must not fall below 13.0 V during programming.
Use only chargers for a low volt-vehicle electrical system that are recommended by BMW.

- Connect the battery charger to the vehicle.
- Connect the programming system with the vehicle.
- Program the starter motor generator:
- Power train
- Engine electronics
- Power supply, vehicle electrical system
- Starter motor generator 48 volts (SGR48)
- Starter motor generator 48 volts (SGR48)
- Reset statistical data of the starter motor generator
- Power train
- Engine electronics
- Reset generator statistical data
