Refrigerant oil in an intact refrigerant circuit can change color over time. Dark/brown coloring of the refrigerant oil does not automatically indicate an impermissible contamination of the refrigerant circuit.

Measure
- Do not flush the refrigerant circuit.

» Black coloration of the refrigerant oil
Measure
- Flush the refrigerant circuit.
- If refrigerant circuit does not need to be flushed:
- Install a new air conditioning compressor.
- Evacuate and fill air conditioning.
- Delete the fault memory.
- If refrigerant circuit does need to be flushed:
- Perform the following operations.
