Checking/Topping up the transfer box oil (Active Torque Control 13-1)

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the transmission.
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil.

Open the oil filler plug (1).
Check the transmission oil level on the transfer box (VTG).

If necessary, top up the transmission oil up to the lower edge of the opening for the oil filler plug using special tool 0 493 337 (00 2 080) .

Tighten the oil filler plug (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Oil filler and oil drain plugs
M22	tightening torque	60 Nm
