Installing the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 4

Replace gasket on exhaust turbocharger.
Parts: Gasket
Guide in and install the catalytic converter (1) for cylinders 1 to 4 in the arrow direction.
Connect the catalytic converter (1) for cylinders 1 to 4 to the exhaust gas turbocharger.

If necessary replace clamp (1).

Mount and tighten clamp (1).

The circlip must be mounted with the screw connection on the inside.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Catalytic converter to exhaust turbocharger
cl Replace clamp after disassembly.	Tightening torque	14 Nm

Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Catalytic converter on cylinder head/cylinder head cover/holder
M8x20	tightening torque	21 Nm

Tighten down screws (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Catalytic converter on cylinder head/cylinder head cover/holder
M8x20	tightening torque	21 Nm

Tighten down screw (3).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Catalytic converter on cylinder head/cylinder head cover/holder
M8x20	tightening torque	21 Nm

For equipment specification without SA1 DC gasoline particulate filter

WARNING: Hot exhaust system.
Risk of burning!

Any work must exclusively be carried out with an exhaust system that has cooled down.

Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Catalytic converter to holder
M8x20 Replace screw.	tightening torque	19 Nm
