Removing the rear emblem
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. Scratch, surface damage.
- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Mask the working area with plastic adhesive tape to avoid paintwork damage.
- Heat the emblem (1) carefully with a hot air blower and release it from the adhesive strip with the special tool 0 490 539 (00 9 322) .
- Carefully lever out the emblem from the guide pins (2) and remove.
The emblem must be replaced after removal.
