Removing the spring strut holder

Loosen nut (1).

Remove the screw (2).

Releasing the anti-roll bar link from the spring strut holder: 

Unfasten nut (1).

Release the anti-roll bar link (2) from the spring strut holder.

Marking the installation position of the spring strut holder: 

Mark the installation position of the spring strut holder (1) for the spring strut (2) before the removal.

Be sure  to make a color coding (3) in extension of the elevation (4).

Release the screw (2) from the spring strut holder (1).

RISK OF DAMAGE 

Failure to comply with the specification. 

Component damage. 

All specifications for installation and removal must  be observed.

Expand spring strut holder (1) using special tool 2 414 636.

Protecting the output shaft from damage with a towel is mandatory  (2).

Feed out and remove the spring strut holder (1) downward.
