Remove the backrest lock
- Unlock and fold back rear seat backrest.NOTE: If the rear seat backrest cannot be unlocked, operate the emergency release.
- Unclip the Bowden cable from the holders (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
Emergency release of rear seat backrest
- Open trunk.
- Insert the screwdriver for levering into the opening of the backrest lock.
- Press the screwdriver to the center of the vehicle in arrow direction, and in so doing press the mounting point (1) of the Bowden cable outwards in arrow direction.
- Guide the backrest lock (1) out slightly and unclip the Bowden cable (2).
