Remove the roof trim strip on the left and right

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Starting from the rear, lever out the roof trim strip upward using special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) from the clamps (1) and (2).
Remove the roof trim strip.
On vehicles with a CFRP roof, the clamps (2) must always be replaced.
