Releasing the right and left output shafts from the rear axle differential
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Detach the output shaft from the rear axle differential
- In the following step, mount the special tool on the circumferential slot (1) of the output shaft.
- Press out the output shaft using the special tool 0 495 851 (33 5 120) and the suitable special tool 2 360 787 0 495 856 (33 5 124) or 2 240 465 from the rear axle differential using a jerky motion.
