Remove both rear inner door sill cover strips
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Remove rear entrance cover strip
- Release the rear seat (1) in area (2) in upward direction from the detents.

Bending of plastic components.
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components.

- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.
- Raise the rear seat (1) slightly.
- Release the rear door sill cover strip (2) upward from the clips (3) and remove.
