Remove instrument panel trim
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Remove the sound insulation (1).
- Loosen screw (2).
- Release all plug connections and cable clips (arrows) behind the glove compartment.
- Unscrew the screws (1) the back of the glove compartment.
- Open glovebox.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (1).

Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
- Pull the instrument panel trim back slightly.
If necessary, unlock and disconnect additional plug connections.
- Remove the instrument panel trim from the vehicle.
