Partially release acoustic cover of oil sump
WARNING:

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.
- Loosen nut (1).
- Thread out positive battery cable (2) and set it aside.
- Loosen nut (3).
- Remove cable (4) and put to one side.
- Unlock and release the clamps (arrows).
- Remove cable (1) and put to one side.
- Unlock and loosen clamp (1).
- Unlock and loosen clamp (2).
- Remove cable (3) and put to one side.
- Loosen clamp (1).
- Unlock and loosen clamp (2).
- Release the acoustic cover (3) of the oil pan and set it aside.
