Install side airbag on front seat

- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

- Feed side airbag in the arrow direction into the backrest frame and the upholstery pocket (3).
- Make sure the guide (4) is positioned correctly.
- Replace the blind rivet (2).

- Secure the side airbag using the blind rivet (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Attach the backrest cover (2) in this area (3).
- Insert the clip (1).
- Attach the backrest cover (1) in the signaled area.
