Bracing the rear axle carrier
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position the special tool 0 495 821 (31 5 255)
correctly on the front mounting point (1) for the special tool.NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position the special tool 0 495 819 (31 5 253)
correctly on the rear mounting point (1) for the special tool.
- Align special tools 0 495 821 (31 5 255)
and 0 495 819 (31 5 253)
to rear axle support.
The center of gravity of the rear axle must be centered over the universal jack!
- Support the rear axle support with the universal jack.
- Secure the rear axle support on special tool 0 496 080 (33 5 206) at the special tool 0 495 817 (31 5 251).
