Resetting transport mode and the performing pre-delivery check with the diagnostic system with a scan tool
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE. Injectors contaminated with coolant. Damage to and failure of injectors that were coated with coolant for an extended period.
- Covering injectors with suitable auxiliary materials before testing or topping up the coolant is mandatory.
- Covering injectors with suitable auxiliary materials before working on the cooling system in the area of the injectors is mandatory.
- If necessary, draw off all of the coolant from the coolant expansion tank.
- Always clean injectors or injector shafts contaminated with coolant (e.g. with compressed air).
Preliminary work
- If fitted: remove the SURFACE PROTECTION .
- CHECK the indicator lights and warning lights.
- Check CONTROL MESSAGES .

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
It is possible that the cooling system has been filled above the maximum mark ex works.
The expansion tank may only be opened when the cooling system is in a cold state. In a warm state, coolant can escape due to thermal expansion.
Do not adapt the coolant level. The normal level of the coolant is reached during driving.

In the case of long transport and immobilization periods, perform the following additional tasks subject to a separate invoice:

- Service functions
- Maintenance
- CBS pre-delivery check
- Perform the pre-delivery check with the diagnostic system using an appropriate scan tool.
The transport mode is reset.
