Removing the door lock on the rear door

Preliminary works 

• Remove the rear door WEATHER STRIP .
• Remove the door handle COVER .
• Remove rear door TRIM PANEL .
• Remove the rear door MODULE CARRIER .

• Unclip the operating rod (1).

• Loosen screws (1).

• For vehicles with the soft-close automatic equipment specification: 

  Pull the Automatic Soft Close drive (1) off the door and allow it to hang down.

  Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.

• Press the door lock (1) into the door.
• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (2).
• Detach the Bowden cable (3).
• Remove the door lock (1).
