- Clean the adhesive area of the windscreen and pretreat with Sika activator -205.
The Sika activator -205 must not get onto adhesive area of adhesive bead.
ADHESIVE DESCRIPTION
| Aktivator -205 | 250 ml, Bottle | 83190030155 |
- Adhere to the air drying time of 1 min at least.
- Reposition the lever (1) and open the special tool 0 496 529 (51 3 320).
- Pull off protective film (2) in stages from adhesive tape.
- Replace cover (1).
Parts: Cover
- Insert the cover (1) into the guide pulleys (3).
- Place the special tool with the pressure rollers (1) up against the window edge.
- Align the cover on the outer edge of the window glass.
- Fit the cover and visually check for perfect fit.
- Reposition the lever (1) in direction of arrow and close the special tool.
- Ensure the cover (3) fits correctly into the guide pulleys (2).
- Continue to pull off protective film (1) in stages from adhesive tape.
- Run the special tool with the handwheel over the entire upper edge of the window glass.
