Remove the control unit for the contactless tailgate opening

WARNING: Hot surfaces.
Risk of burning!

Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

Preliminary work

Remove the center rear UNDERBODY PANELLING .

Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
Release latch mechanism (2) and remove the control unit (3) in direction of arrow.
