Install the BDC control unit

• Connect the connector of the positive battery cable (1) to the BDC control unit (4).

  It is essential to observe the sequence: 

  1. Install the positive battery cable connector (1) in the direction of the arrow.
  2. Check that retaining lug (2) is engaged correctly.
  3. Close lock (3) in direction of arrow.

• Connect all connectors (1) and lock.

• Connect all connectors (1) and lock.

• Insert cover (2) in direction of arrow.
• Check the latch mechanisms (1).

• Tighten screw (2) at cover (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Body Domain Controller (BDC)
  Sheet metal screw 4.8x16	Tightening torque	1.2 Nm

• Position the carpet (1).

Follow-up Work 

• Install right a-pillar footwell side TRIM PANEL .
• Install the front door sill COVER STRIP .
• Install the right footwell TRIM PANEL .
• Connect all battery EARTH LEADS .
• ENCODE/PROGRAM control unit(s)
• INITIALIZE component protection
• Activate the 48 v ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
