Installing the universal joint at the bottom of the steering shaft
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The universal joint can be mounted only in one position.
The universal joint and the steering gear or the steering shaft at the bottom are encoded to one another.
The clamping bolt must be positioned in the groove of the steering gear or the steering shaft.

The clamping bolt must be positioned in the groove of the steering gear or the steering shaft.
- Clean any residue of the screw locking agent on the screw thread.
- Push the universal joint (3) onto the bottom of the steering shaft (2).
- Replace the clamping bolt (1).
Parts: Clamping bolt
- Tighten the clamping bolt (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Follow-up work
- Install the pedal assembly TRIM PANEL .
- Install the THRUST FIELD .
- Install rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Check the steering wheel STRAIGHT-AHEAD DRIVING POSITION .
- CHECK the airbag for function.
