Removing the bellows for the steering gear

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Perform WHEEL ALIGNMENT after installation.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Remove the UNDERBODY PROTECTION of the steering gear and thrust field respectively.
Remove the WHEEL .
Remove the TIE ROD END .

Cut diagonally across the ear hose clamp (1) using special tool 0 494 152 (32 1 260) .

Remove the strap clamp (1).
Detach the bellows (2) from tie rod.
