Installing the steering gear bellows

• Great the electromechanical steering gear and the tie rod in the areas (1) and (2).

• Push on the bellows (2).
• Attach the strap clamp (1).

• Replace ear hose clamp.

  Parts: Ear hose clamp

• Hook the hook fastener and the ear hose clamp (1) press together with the special tool 0 494 152 (32 1 260)  .

Follow-up work 

• Install TIE ROD END .
• Install the UNDERBODY PROTECTION of the steering gear or the front thrust field.
• Mount the WHEEL .
• Perform CHASSIS ALIGNMENT CHECK .
