Install the tension strut

• Replace clip nut (1).

  Parts:  Clip nut

• Position tension strut (1) on front axle support.

• Install tension strut on swivel bearing.
• Replace nut (1).

  Parts:  Nut

• Tighten the nut (1), if necessary hold with a Torx key.
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tension strut to swivel bearing
  M16 Replace nut.	Joining torque	100 Nm
  	Angle of rotation	90°

  NOTE: Tighten the screw connection in the NORMAL POSITION .
• Position the crash element (2).
• Replace the screw (1).

• Tighten screw (1) in NORMAL POSITION .
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Tension strut to front axle support
  M14 Replace flat nuts and screw. Tighten in normal position.	Joining torque	85 Nm
  	Angle of rotation	180°

• Position wheel arch trim panel (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Wheel arch cover
  screw	3 Nm
  Plastic nut	2.6 Nm

  Install the brake ventilation duct 

• Guide the brake ventilation duct (2) into the wheel arch cover.
• Tighten down screw (1).
