Installing wheel electronics

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
It is absolutely necessary to replace the tire valve to prevent leaks.
Before installing the tire valve: Clean the bore in the wheel rim thoroughly and deburr where required.

Insert valve insert (1) in arrow direction in wheel electronics.

Fit sealing ring (1) in arrow direction.

Ensure correct installation position.
The mark (1) on the sealing ring must point up.

Insert the valve insert with the wheel electronics (1) into the cleaned bore in the rim.
The wheel electronics must rest against the wheel rim.

Replace the union nut (1).
Parts: Coupling nut
Screw on the union nut (1) manually until it abuts.
Press the wheel electronics evenly into the rim base.

Tighten union nut (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Tire valve to wheel rim
Replace union nut. Tighten screw connection in one go. Do not retighten the screw connection.	Tightening torque	8 Nm

Make sure the wheel electronics rest evenly against the wheel rim after tightening.
