Removing rubber mount for the transmission bearing (all-wheel drive vehicle)
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to REMOVE TRANSMISSION CROSS-MEMBER .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING THE CONNECTOR FROM VTG CONTROL UNIT .
- Use special tools 2 445 327 and 0 496 552 (33 3 010).
- Position the bridge (1) and centrally align the pressure disc (2) with the retaining lugs pointing towards the top on the rubber mount.
- Install the bridge (1) including pressure disc (2) and press out the rubber mounts in arrow direction.
