Remove bearing bracket for pedal mechanism

Preliminary work 

• Remove the pedal mechanism TRIM PANEL .
• Remove the brake light SWITCH .

• Retract release tool 2 409 646  between brake pedal and brake booster.
• Apply support (1) of the release tool 2 409 646  on the bearing bracket. If necessary, position the support by rotating the screw on the release tool.

• Push release tool 2 409 646  in the direction of the arrow and lever out the brake pedal from brake booster.

  NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
• Disconnect plug connection (1).

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.

• Loosen nuts (1).

• Release screw (1) and remove bearing bracket (2).
