Install side airbag on front seat

- Replace any damaged part or ones that have been dropped.

- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery earth lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

- Insert the side airbag into the backrest frame and lining pocket (3) in the direction of the arrow.
- Make sure the guide (4) is positioned correctly.
- Replace the blind rivet (2).
Parts: Blind rivet
- Secure the side airbag using the blind rivet (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Attach the backrest cover (2) in this area (3).
- Insert the clip (1).
- Attach the backrest cover (1) in the indicated area.
Follow-up Work
- Mount the front seat backrest REAR PANEL .
- Install front seat OUTER COVER .
- Connect all battery EARTH LEADS .
