Removing the underbody protection of the steering gear and front stiffening plate respectively

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
Different variants may be installed depending on the vehicle equipment.

• Version A: 

  Release all bolts (arrows).

  Guide out underbody protection (1) of the steering gear.

  Driving without stiffening plate is not permissible.
• Version B: 
• Loosen screws (3).
• Loosen screws (2).
• Remove front stiffening plate (1).
