Preparing the rear spoiler
- Carefully remove the adhesive residue from the rear spoiler.

- Check the rear spoiler.
Do not install rear spoilers with poor fitting accuracy.
A rear spoiler loosely placed on the tailgate must not protrude, especially at the corners.
- Clean the bonding surface on the rear spoiler.

- Place adhesive strip (1) on the rear spoiler and align it.
In the center of the spoiler (arrow), leave approx. 2 mm blank on adhesive strip (1).
- Pull off the protective film for the bonding surface from adhesive strip (1) and stick it on the rear spoiler.
- Press on the adhesive strip (1) with the thumb or back of the hand over the entire surface, since the adhesion of the adhesive tape builds up significantly via the contact pressure.
