Installing fan cowl

Prerequisite 

Ignition is switched off.

• Feed in and install the fan cowl (1) in the direction of the arrow.
• Fasten the coolant hose to the fan cowl.

• Connect the connector (1) to the fan cowl and lock audibly.
• Connect the connector (2) to the coolant temperature sensor and lock it audibly.

• Fasten the cable with the clamp (1) at left on the fan cowl.

• If fitted: 

  Fasten the coolant line (1) at left on the fan cowl with the clamp (2).

• Fasten the coolant hoses with the clamps (1) to the fan cowls.

• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Fan cowl to coolant radiator
  	Tightening torque	5.5 Nm

• Refer to INSTALL THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
• Refer to INSTALL FRONT CROSS CONNECTION .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE RIGHT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH THE RIGHT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to INSTALLING LEFT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH LEFT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE TOP
