Removing both fog light supports

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove the fog light support

Removing the high-pressure nozzle of the headlight cleaning system

Lever out the cover (1) using special tool 0 493 687 (00 9 340).
Slowly pull out high-pressure nozzle of headlight cleaning system from cover (1).

Unclip the cover (2) from the guide (1) at the side in the direction of the arrow and remove to the front.
Allow the high-pressure nozzle (3) of the headlight cleaning system to slide back slowly.

Unlock and disconnect high pressure line (1).
Unlock the latch mechanisms (2).
Remove the high-pressure nozzle (3) towards rear.

Disengage the fog light support (1) from the latch mechanisms (arrows).
Loosen the expanding rivet (2).

Detach wiring harness (1).
Detach the hose for the headlight cleaning system (2).
Loosen screw (3).
Remove control unit (4).
Remove the fog light support (5) toward the top.
