Remove interior roof light

Leave electrical components in original packaging until just before they are installed. Use the original packaging only for any return shipments. Always package removed components straight away.
Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
Only touch the housings of electrical components. Do not touch pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
With the optional equipment SA6UA, the camera for gesture control is integrated in the roof control module. Separate exchange of this camera in the event of a fault is not possible.

Preliminary works

Remove the roof FUNCTION CENTER (FZD).

Lever out the interior roof light with the special tool 0 490 527 (009 310) in the direction of the arrow from the frames (1).

Release both latch mechanisms (1) in the direction of the arrow.
Feed out interior roof light (3) from the frames (2).
