Remove the seat mechanism for the front seat

Prerequisite 

• The thigh support is adjusted fully forward.
  NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary works 

• Remove front SEAT .
• Remove front seat outer COVER .
• Remove seat adjustment OPERATING UNIT .
• Remove the outer seat rail COVER .
• Remove front seat rail COVER
• Remove the front seat outer cover SUPPORT .
• Remove front seat inner COVER .
• Remove the front seat cushion seat COVER

• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1) for motors.
• Unclip the connector housing (2).

• Loosen the cable clip (1).
• Unclip the connector housing (2).
• Remove the wiring harness (3).

• Loosen the cable clip (1).
• Loosen screw (2).
• Fold the lower strap (3) towards the rear and remove it in this area (4).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Remove the seat mechanism (2) from the backrest (3).
