Removing the high-voltage cable
WARNING:
High-voltage system.

Preliminary work
- Disconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
- Remove the tunnel connect SUPPORT
- If installed: remove the right and left TORSION STRUT .
- Remove complete EXHAUST SYSTEM .
- Remove the underbody HEAT INSULATION .
- Release the screws (1) and remove the associated holder.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION Observe the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for unlocking and disconnecting various plug connections in electrical and hybrid vehicles!
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
- Release the locks (1) by turning downwards.
- Feed out the line clip (2) with both the holders (1) upwards.
- Loosen nuts (1).
- Remove the cable bracket (2).
- Unclip the line clip (2) of the high-voltage cable (1).
- Loosen nuts (1).
- Release the line clip (2).
- Release the nut (1).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Remove the sealing frame (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release the screw (2) and remove the associated holder.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION Observe the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for unlocking and disconnecting various plug connections in electrical and hybrid vehicles!
- Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
- Unlock the holder (1) in the marked area.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION Observe the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for unlocking and disconnecting various plug connections in electrical and hybrid vehicles!
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Feed out the rubber grommet (3) of the high-voltage cable.
- Loosen the nuts (1).
- Release the screws (2) and pull the connector (3) of the high-voltage cable straight upwards.
- Release the nut (1).
- Feed out the rubber grommet (4) of the high-voltage cable (3).
- Pull the holder (2) slightly to the front.
- Feed out the high-voltage cable (2) from the holder (1).
- Remove the high-voltage cable (2) downwards.
