Install vehicle battery

• Install vehicle battery (4).
• Position the battery carrier with the screw (2) as shown.
• Tighten the battery carrier with screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Battery carrier to body
  M8 screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Position the positive battery terminal on the positive battery terminal.
• Tighten the nut on the positive battery terminal.
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Positive battery terminal to battery
  Nut	Tightening torque	5 Nm

• Close positive terminal cover (1).
• Position the vent hose (3).
• Clip the luggage compartment antenna to the cargo area floor (2) using the holder (1).

• Position the negative battery terminal (2) on the negative battery terminal.
• Tighten nut (1).

Follow-up work 

• Check the battery VENT HOLES .
• Install the battery COVER PLATE .
• Install the STORAGE TRAY .
• Install the rear luggage compartment FLOOR COVERING
• Reconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
• REGISTER battery change.
