Installing the starter unit battery

• Install starter unit battery (2).
• Insert vent hose (1).

• Join the positive battery terminal (2) to the battery terminal.
• Tighten the diagonally-tightened nut (1) on the positive battery terminal (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Negative battery terminal
  Nut	Tightening torque	5 Nm

• Close positive terminal cover (1).

• Move the 12 V battery (1) in arrow direction and position it.

• Position the battery holder (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Battery carrier to body
  Screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

Follow-up work 

• Check the battery VENT HOLES .
• Reconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
