Install transmission oil cooler
Follow-up work
- Refer to INSTALL THE COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON TOP .
- Refer to CHECKING/TOPPING UP THE OIL LEVEL IN THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION .
- Refer to INSTALL REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to INSTALLING THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION OF THE STEERING GEAR OR THE FRONT THRUST FIELD .
- Refer to INSTALL THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION OR FRONT THRUST FIELD .
- Guide in and install the transmission oil cooler with cooler module mount (1) in the direction of the arrow.
- Feed in and lock the transmission oil cooler (1) in the bracket (2) at right.
- Press cooling module (4) in the direction of the arrow and guide it into holder (5).
- Ensure that cooler module mount (3) fits correctly.
- Tighten down screw (2).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Cooler module mount on front axle support M6x30 Tightening torque 10 Nm - Tighten down screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Radiator to cooling module, bottom TS6x20 Tightening torque 6 Nm - Connect the transmission oil lines (2).
- Press the locking mechanism (1) in arrow direction and lock the transmission oil lines (2).
- Insert and install the cover (3) at the bottom left cooling module.
- Ensure that the lock (2) engages audibly.
- Ensure that the locking mechanism (1) engages audibly.
- Ensure that the locking mechanisms (1) engage audibly.
- Feed in and install cover (3) on cooling module, bottom right.
- Ensure that the lock (2) engages audibly.
- Ensure that the locking mechanism (1) engages audibly.
- Feed in the cover (2) at bottom left front and install.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Cover to front bumper screw Tightening torque 3 Nm - Feed out and remove the cable tie (2) from the cooling module (1).
- Insert and install the mounting element (1).
- Lock the locks (arrows).
The locks (arrows) must engage audibly.
