Remove the backrest frame for the center rear seat backrest

Preliminary works 

• Remove rear SEAT BENCH .
• Remove left side section BACKREST .
• Remove left rear SEAT BACKREST .
• Remove the central rear SEAT BACKREST
• Remove the rear middle HEAD RESTRAINT .
• Remove center rear seat backrest rear PANEL .

• Unclip the trim (1) from the backrest frame.

• Remove the trim (1) in the direction of the arrow.

• Detach the seat cover in the marked area (1).
• Feed the cushion (2) out and remove.

  Remove the guide sleeve for the rear head restraint 

  NOTE: The Description is for one component only. The procedure is identical for all further components.
• Push the latch mechanism (1) inward with the special tool 0 494 627 (52 0070). 
• Remove the guide sleeve towards the top.

• Unclip the trim (1) from the bottom on the left and right retaining lugs (2).
• Remove the trim (1) and the seat cover (3).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Remove the insert (2).
