Remove the rear panel from the right rear seat backrest

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove the rear panel from the rear seat backrest

Unclip the welt of the backrest cover with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) along the broken line (1).
Remove the rear panel (2).
