Additional work on all-wheel drive vehicles after driving with faulty (non-engaging) drive (530i xDrive 2017-2022, 530e PHEV 2018-2022, 540i xDrive 2017-2022, M550i xDrive 2018-2022)

IMPORTANT: If the vehicle has been shifted under engine power with a non-engaging drive system (e.g. faulty front prop shaft, or one output shaft is no longer engaging with the drive flange, rear axle differential faulty/no power transmission), it is mandatory to calibrate the transfer box after having repaired the prop shaft/output shaft(s).

Carry out calibration after having completed the repair using the diagnostic system and information system, in control unit function - Functional check - Transfer box.
