Replacing center silencer

If the separation point is not marked by a punch mark in the pipe, determine the separation point by the length of the pipe on the new center silencer.
Carry over separation point to faulty center silencer and mark.
Protect the center silencer (1) from falling.
Cut through exhaust pipes at marked point with a suitable tool.

Loosen the screw (1) the right of the rear axle support.

Loosen the screw (1) the left of the rear axle support.
Lower and remove the center silencer with the help of a second person.

Adjust the new center silencer (1) and use clamps to connect it to the front silencer and rear silencer.

Check rubber mount for damage. Replaced damaged rubber mounts.
Mount rubber mount on the new center silencer.
Replace the screw (1).

Tighten the screw (1) to the right of the rear axle support.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Exhaust system to rear axle carrier tightening torque
M8x25 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

Tighten the screw (1) to the left of the rear axle support.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Exhaust system to rear axle carrier
M8x25 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	28 Nm

Center the clamps (1) and tighten down.

Clamp	Tightening torque	45 Nm
