Wiring harness section for the ignition and injectors
WARNING:
Working on 12 V electrical system.

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.

- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
- Unlock and loosen clamp (1).
- Guide and remove cover (2) in arrow direction.
- Unlock and loosen all connectors (1) in the direction of the arrow.
Releasing the service opening in sound insulation on top of engine
- Detach the service opening (2) in the marked areas (arrows) and turn to the side using the pivot point (1).
- Unlock and detach the connector (arrows).
- Loosen nuts (1).
- Feed out ground cable (2) and set it aside.
- Lift cable duct (3).
- Unlock lock (1) arrow direction from the top.
- Press lock (1) together and release.
- Remove the injector connectors (2).
- Loosen clamp (1).
- Unlock and loosen holder (2).
- Unlock and loosen holder (3).
- Guide the wiring harness section for the ignition and the injectors (4) out and remove them.
