• 11 42 Oil Filter And Pipes
  • 11 42 320 Replace oil spray nozzle (M550i xDrive, 2018-2019)
    • Layout of main bearing caps
    • Main bearing cap taper screw mounting
    • Unscrew the threaded bushing
    • Unscrew the collar screws M8
    • Release the collar screws M11
    • Removing the oil nozzle in the crankcase
    • Install the oil nozzle in the crankcase
    • Observe the bearing shell classification
    • Rotate the threaded support sleeves in reverse
    • Main bearing cap/thrust bearing
    • Insert the crankshaft with the main bearing cap
    • Screw in the collar screws M11
    • Securing the collar screws M8
    • Installation note for securing collar screws M11
    • Secure the threaded support sleeve
    • Secure the main bearing taper screw mounting
    • Measure the coefficient of friction
    • Check the crankshaft side clearance with the special tool
    • Check the crankshaft side clearance
  • 11 42 350 Removing and installing/replacing both oil feed lines (M550i xDrive, 2018-2019)
    • Removing the oil feed line at the exhaust turbocharger for cylinders 5 to 8
    • Removing oil supply line on exhaust turbocharger of cylinders 1 to 4
    • Installing the oil feed line at the exhaust turbocharger for cylinders 5-8
    • Installing oil feed line on exhaust turbocharger cylinders 1 to 4
  • 11 42 350 Removing and installing/replacing both oil feed lines (M550i xDrive, 2020-2022)
    • Removing oil supply line on exhaust turbocharger of cylinders 1 to 4
    • Installing oil feed line on exhaust turbocharger cylinders 1 to 4
    • Removing the oil feed line at the exhaust turbocharger for cylinders 5 to 8
    • Installing oil feed line on exhaust turbocharger cylinders 5 to 8
  • 11 42 352 Expand and install/replace oil return lines (M550i xDrive, 2020-2022)
    • Removing the left and right exhaust turbocharger
    • Installing both exhaust turbochargers
• 11 43 Oil Filling, Measuring Stick

    • Loosening the oil dipstick
    • Removing the oil dipstick
    • Securing the oil dipstick

    • Installing the oil coolant heat exchanger

    • Install lower heat shield
