RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the gasoline particulate filter.
Forcibly removing, installing or dropping the gasoline particulate filter down will damage it.
Damage to the gasoline particulate filter.
Forcibly removing, installing or dropping the gasoline particulate filter down will damage it.
- Remove and install the gasoline particulate filter without damaging it and without applying external force.
- Avoid impacts/knocks to the gasoline particulate filter (e.g. by tools, falling down, hard contact with base).
- If the separation point is not identified by a punch mark in the pipe, determine the separation point by the length of the pipe on the new gasoline particulate filter (1).
- Mark the separation point on the component being replaceed.
- Secure the gasoline particulate filter (1) and the rear silencer against falling.
- Cut through the component to be replaced at the marked point with a suitable tool.
- Version with ribbon clamp:
Release the ribbon clamp (1).
- Version with V ribbon clip:
Unfasten clamp (1).
- Unfasten nut (1).
- Thread out and remove the gasoline particulate filter (1) with the help of a support person.
