11 15 140 Replacing oil separator for cylinders 5 - 8 (N63O2) (M550i xDrive, 2018-2019)

Preliminary work needed:

REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD COVER

Removal:

Loosen screws in the sequence 7 - 1 .

Remove oil separator (1) together with channel (2) and power distribution box (3).

Installation:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
All motor oil and contamination must be removed from all threaded holes.
Compliance with torque specifications for screw connections is mandatory!

NOTE: Make sure that the gaskets (1) between the oil separator (2), power distribution box (3) and channel (4) are installed correctly.

Install oil separator (1) with channel (2) and power distribution box (3).

Parts : Replace screws.

Tighten screws in sequence 1 - 7 .

Oil separator to cylinder head cover
M6 Replace screws	Tightening torque	10 Nm

Cylinder head cover to cylinder head
M6x30 screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

Parts : Replace gaskets (1).

Make sure the gasket (1) is installed correctly.
