Checking the internal engine pressure
Preliminary work
- Refer to CHECKING/IF NECESSARY TOPPING UP ENGINE OIL LEVEL WITH DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OIL FILLER CAP .
- Insert special tool 0 496 326 (11 9 880) into the opening of oil filler neck (2) and screw in hand-tight.
- Connect the standard connection hose (1) with the special tool 0 496 326 (11 9 880).

connect with measurement technique.
- Start engine and run at idle speed.
- Measure the engine internal pressure with the measuring technique.
- Connect diagnosis system and follow diagnosis instructions for pressure test.

- Engine electronics
- Crankcase pressure measurement
- Stop engine.

disconnect from the connecting hose (1).
- Remove the special tool 0 496 326 (11 9 880) from the opening of the oil filler neck (2).
