Removing the coolant pump
Prerequisite
- Ignition is switched off.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON LEFT AND RIGHT IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE TOP .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH LEFT FRONT-END STRUT .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH RIGHT FRONT-END STRUT .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING FAN COWL .
- Refer to PARTIALLY RELEASE THE COOLANT EXPANSION TANK FOR THE LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLANT CIRCUIT .
- Refer to REMOVING DRIVE BELT .
- Loosen screw (1).
- Detach the coolant line (2) from the coolant pump and set aside.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Detach the coolant line (2) from the coolant pump and set aside.
- Unlock connector (1) and detach.
- Unlock coolant hose (2) and detach.
- Unlock coolant hose (3) and detach.
- Release screw (1) (M6x90).
- Release straw (2) (M6x70).
- Release the screw (1) below the coolant pump.
- Release the screws (1) on the coolant pimp.
- Release the coolant pump (1) from the engine block.
- Unlock connector (1) and detach from coolant pump.
- Feed out and remove the coolant pump (2).
