Removing the coolant pump

Prerequisite 

• Ignition is switched off.

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON LEFT AND RIGHT IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE TOP .
• Refer to REMOVING LEFT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH LEFT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT INTAKE FILTER HOUSING WITH RIGHT FRONT-END STRUT .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT CROSS CONNECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR TOP CROSS CONNECTION .
• Refer to REMOVING FAN COWL .
• Refer to PARTIALLY RELEASE THE COOLANT EXPANSION TANK FOR THE LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLANT CIRCUIT .
• Refer to REMOVING DRIVE BELT .

• Loosen screw (1).
• Detach the coolant line (2) from the coolant pump and set aside.

• Loosen screw (1).

• Unlock connector (1) and detach.
• Unlock coolant hose (2) and detach.
• Unlock coolant hose (3) and detach.

• Release screw (1) (M6x90).
• Release straw (2) (M6x70).

• Release the screw (1) below the coolant pump.

• Release the screws (1) on the coolant pimp.

• Release the coolant pump (1) from the engine block.

• Unlock connector (1) and detach from coolant pump.
• Feed out and remove the coolant pump (2).
