- Adhere to the utmost cleanliness.
- Protect components from contamination e.g. by covering.
- Close off line connections with seal plugs.

- Have a rag ready and catch any motor oil that may emerge.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Feed out and remove the oil feed line (2) for the exhaust turbocharger.
