Removing steering column shroud upper section
Preliminary work
- ADJUST the steering column position.

The rubber plugs are reusable. Process to reuse the rubber plugs: remove the steering column shroud lower section and remove the rubber plugs.
The rubber plugs are reusable. Process to reuse the rubber plugs: remove the steering column shroud lower section and remove the rubber plugs.
- Twist the steering wheel until the rubber plugs (1) in the steering column shroud becomes visible.
- Press in the rubber plugs (1) using a T15 Torx screwdriver towards the inside into the steering column shroud.
- With the Torx screwdriver, T15 (1) lever the lug inward (2) in arrow direction and simultaneously push off the steering column shroud upper section (3) upwards in arrow direction.
- Unclip the upper section of the steering column shroud (1) from the guide (2) and remove upwards.
